Vice President Kamala Harris is preparing to launch a month-long series of high-profile events to unite key voting groups,
Including an itinerary outlining his role for the Democratic ticket in 2024.
In Chicago on Sunday, Harris will preside over the annual conference of the Rainbow Push Coalition, a civil rights group founded by the Rev. Jesse Jackson.
She will travel to Indianapolis next weekend to address the convention of Delta Sigma Theta
in which Harris – an Alpha Kappa Alpha member – would be paired with the "Divine Nine", one of the historically black sororities.
Harris will also address the conventions of Unidos US, a leading Hispanic advocacy group, in Chicago.
