'I'm evil,' writes British nurse convicted of murdering seven babies in her care
The country's deadliest infant serial killer in recent memory, a British nurse was convicted of murdering seven newborns.
and was found guilty of trying to kill six more at the hospital where she worked.
According to evidence presented at Manchester Crown Court in northern England
Lucy Letby, 33, physically abused infants in her care by injecting them with
blood and air into their stomachs, overfeeding them
And injured them by poisoning them with insulin.
In one case, Letby allegedly killed a child named Child E by injecting air into his veins.
The next day, he attempted to poison his twin brother, Childe F, with insulin.
